Civil Engineering Technology Admission Criteria and Program Requirements

Admission Criteria

Specific requirements for admission may vary depending on which pathway a student 追求. 

Associate Degree Option

• 高中GPA: 2.5

• 大学平均绩点: 2.0, based on 9+ credits
• 行为: 17, with 16+ math subscore
• 坐: 880, with 430+ math subscore

Associate Degree - SDSM&T路径选项

• 高中GPA:  2.75在4上.0规模
  
• Complete High School Coursework Requirements (下面列出)
  
• Proof of College Algebra-Readiness by one of the Following Methods:
  • ACT or SAT math sub-score of at least 20/520
  • Completion of a college math course (Intermediate Algebra or higher)
  • Qualifying score on the Accuplacer exam

OR, Are a South Dakota Regents’ Scholar.

High School Coursework Requirements

All degree-seeking applicants must complete the following required courses with a cumulative grade point average of a “C” or higher (2.0对4.0比例):

  • ACT 英语 sub-test score of 18 or above
  • AP 英语 score of 3 or above
• Advanced Mathematics (one of the following)
  • 3 years of Advanced Mathematics (includes algebra or any higher level of math)

  • AP Calculus score of 3 or above
• Laboratory Science (one of the following)
  • 3 years of Laboratory Science (includes biology, chemistry, physics, or other approved science courses in which there is a weekly lab period scheduled)
  • ACT Science Reasoning sub-test score of 17 or above
  • AP Science score of 3 or above
• 社会科学 (one of the following)
  • 3 years of 社会科学
  • ACT Social Studies/Reading sub-test score of 17 or above
  • AP Social Studies score of 3 or above
• 美术 (one of the following)
  • 1 year of 美术
  • AP 美术 score of 3 or above

• Pencils (mechanical, 0.5mm lead preferred)
